Christmas 2010

Well, this was our second Christmas with just the 5 of us. Thankgoodness for SKYPE. We got to open presents with both sets of Grandparents and Aunt Jean and Tim's family. Some of the big presents this year for the kids were bikes, pillow pets and Mario Brothers stuff. For Ryan, he got clothes and a new Wii hunting game. I got clothes and Pandora bracelet charms. We had a fun Christmas. I think the funniest time was when we were playing with the new stomp rocket launcher. It is designed to stomp ib and the rockets shoot up in the air. Well, since we are in Michigan and it is cold and snowy outside, we found a new way of using it indoors. Ryan decided that we should shoot it at each other. Let me add that the warning on the box clearly states that you are not supposed to aim these at people or animals. I guess rules are made to be broken (in Ryan's worlk). So we made it a game. We took turns acting like animals while hiding behind furniture. Meanwhile someone else was shooting these rockets. The kids (aka Ryan) and J,K,L had a blast. I admit, I did too. Anyways, it is strange to think this is our last Christmas in Michigan. Happy 2010. Looking forward to being with family next Christmas!

A Polite NO

Okay, so I just had to mention this. For the last couple days I have told Kaden that it is time to go down for his nap and his reply is..." No, Thank you, I don't want to" Hey, at least it was a polite NO. I couldn't help but chuckle. He is such a funny guy!

Merry Christmas 2010

This year we decided to go casual with our Christmas family photo and announce where we will be moving to next year. Since Ryan got a job in Twin Falls, Idaho, we couldn't resist dressing up in our Boise State gear.
