Dance Recital

The Girls did dance again this year. They had so much fun and I have so much fun dressing them up and putting make-up on them for the recital. Logan is in the black and pink and Jordan is in the blueish purple.

Before Bed

Sometimes the best time to get my kids to take pictures and smile if just before bed. They will do anything to stay up just a minute longer. So I had Ryan take pictures of me with each kid just before bed. It worked out great! I love my little monkeys soooo much!

Anniversary #7

Well, our 7th Anniversary is actually on Monday, but we celebrated it today. We golfed together and went out for dinner. Then we came home and Ryan gave me his gift. It was a creative card that he had made out of posterboard and candy bars. Look carefully and you can see what it says. This was pretty good for Ryan. He doesn't do many creative things like this, so I was proud and loved the thought that went into it.

3 Weeks with Grandma and Grandpa Fortner

Where to begin...we have been very busy over the past 3 weeks. My parents arrived and we got busy. We celebrated Kadens 2nd Birthday party, went to a family reunion in Inidana for a weekend, went to a Detroit Tigers and Chicago Cubs baseball game in Detroit, went to the Detroit Zoo, went to Great Wolf Lodge and other fun stuff around the house. Our favorite part was Great Wolf Lodge. For those who don't know about it, it is a great family place. It is an indoor water park/hotel with all kinds of activities located in Traverse City, Michigan. They have arcade games, the water park, craft room, story time, magic quest scavenger hunt game, etc. The rooms are decorated really neat too. The kids had their own bunk bed room inside our room with their own T.V. To top it all off, we happened to be there while the National Cherry Festival was going on. This was located along the beach downtown. They had dog shows, carnival rides, train rides, etc. We had an absolute blast. We hope to go again next year. Here are some pictures from some of our fun activities. Oh, and one more thing. During these 3 weeks, we made 3 trips to the E.R. I went first for stomach pains, which ended up being female stuff. Then I went the second time for shortness of breath, which was from a panic attack, then Jordan went to the E.R. for the third visit. She fell off the monkey bars and broke her arm. Crazy huh!

Kaden Turns 2!!!

My little guy...Kaden turns 2! I can't beleive it. I had a fun party planned for him, but I wasn't feeling good, as you can see in the pics. Thankfully, he is only 2 and doesn't really care. My parents were in town and we did cake and presents. We finally got more boy toys in this house. Happy Birthday Kaden!!!! I Love you!!!

My First Quilt

Okay, so a while back I showed the fabric of my quilt. Well, I finally finished it. It is bright, but I am proud of how it came out. I thought my first quilt would have come out A LOT worse. I am working on burp cloths and bibs right now, bu I have been inspired to make some skirts for the Girls, thanks to My great friend. Projects are so fun!

Nana & Papa's Visit

Ryans parents just left today after a two week visit. We had a good time. We celebrated Logan and Jordan's 5th Birthday with a "Litlest Pet Shop" Birthday. We BBQ'd, played games and even had a sleepover. Yes, I had 4 of the Girls friends over for the night. So we had 6 5 year olds over. It went pretty good actually. Ryan set up our tent in our living room and all 6 kids were able to fit inside with their pillows and sleeping bags. I told the kids to go to bed at 10:00 p.m. and they finally fell asleep at 11:00 p.m. You would think they would all sleep in from a busy day and late night...NO! They were all awake at 6:15 a.m. It was a good time, but I think I will do a smaller sleepover next time.
Besides the birthday, we shopped, Ryan and I had a date night, went to dinner and a movie, went to Frankenmuch (German town with the largest Christmas store), went to the Zoo, etc. I was great fun. Here are some pics.
