Haviland Baby No. 5

I was recently blessed to be a part of Kelly Havilands delivery of her 5th baby. Since I have had C-Sections for all my kids, I have never seen or experienced a regular vaginal child birth. What an amazing experience! Even though, I think I got jipped with Kelly only having to push twice and the baby immediatley come out, I was glad to be there!!! :0) Kelly made it look so easy!

Daddy Daughter Dance

The Girls got to go to a Daughter Daddy Dance at their school, Cook Elementary. They even wore dresses for me. They had a lot of fun. They got to hang with their best friend, Avery Haviland. I also put a picture of Kaden in here. When he found out that the Girls had a date with Daddy, I told him he could stay at home with me and have a date with Mommy. He decided to go and get dressed up for our date and this is what he came out with. What a QT, even though it is a strange outfit. :0)

Our New Home in Idaho

We have 3 weeks left here in Michigan. It is a bitter-sweet feeling in my heart. I am excited to get back close to family, but I am really going to miss many great friends here in Michigan. We will be renting our house out here to incoming residents. We bought a home in Twin Falls, Idaho. What is crazy is that Ryan and I haven't even seen or been in the home. We have seen many pictures, family has gone to see it and our Realetor, Judy, knew what I wanted. From what we have seen and heard, the house is going to fit us perfectly, but a lot of work to be done. It is a repo house and has been vacant for 2 years. We will have fun fixing it up and making it our own though. Here are the pics of our home we will miss in Michigan and our new home in Twin.

Easter 2011

Today,Ryan had to work, so it was just the Kiddos and I. We went to Church together. I asked what the kids learned today about why we celebrate Easter. Here is their responses...
Kaden: Jesus. He died.
Jordan: Jesus rose from the dead. He rose on the 3rd day.
Logan: He rises from the dead to make people feel better.

Not bad for 3 little monkeys. We may not go to church every Sunday, but when we do, at least they take bits and pieces with them to learn more of their Heavenly Father.

Here are some pictures of the kids this morning on their egg basket hunt and on our way to church. NOTE: It was like prying teeth with Logan trying to get her to wear a skirt to church. She wore a cute outfit for the picture, then changed into a sportier skirt to wear to church. That is my little Tomboy! Love her though!

New York

This past weekend, I went to see one of my best friends, Katherine Stewart. She lives in Maryland, but we decided to go to New York to hang out. Her brother, Michael and his wife Lori live there. We had such a blast. We walked A LOT, shopped, rode a ton of Taxi's, rode the subway, ate out A LOT, danced on the BIG piano from the movie BIG. The best part was going to an 80's club. All 80's music is awesome. Knowing and singing all the words to almost all the songs was so much fun. To top it all off,Naughty by Nature was there to perform. They were awesome. "Hip Hop Hooray Oh, Hey, Oh... and You Down With OPP, Ya You Know My...". I am so lucky that Ryan was able to take a few days off for me to get away. Here are some pics from the FUN weekend.

Great Wolf Lodge

We got to take the kids to Great Wolf Lodge for the second time. Time it was a little different though. We told the kids we had a suprise weekend in store for them. We told them that their friends, Avery, Brooklyn and Kara would be there, but didn't say where. As we drove up to the sign "Great Wolf Lodge", I took out my camera to catch their expressions. Jordan spotted the sign first and their eyes and mouths got so big, then they threw their arms in the air. They were soooo excited! I haven't downloaded my pictures yet, but will post later. We had a blast with all our friends! Kaden was so funny. As soon as we got our luggage in the room, he started to put everything in drawers and made his bed up. He is my little organizer.

Dinner One Night

Okay, so tonight for dinner I made one of the kids favorite things...canned chicken with ranch and cheese melts. Along with it I served green beans. Kaden said he didn't want the green beans. I said he needed to eat them to help him grow big and strong and to help him go poop. I'm sure you can see where this is going. Anyways, so after dinner I saw that Kaden ate all of his green beans. I said to him, good job Kaden, you ate all of your green beans. His response??? Ya, Mommy I will go poop a lot now.
Funny kid. I guess I set him up for that one.
