Random Stuff

Kaden is the perfect Time-out kid. He has started temper tantrums lately and he is almost two, so I thought I should start to introduce the "Time-Out". Here he is in his time out spot. I put him there, he stayed (never moved), then I picked him up and did the "Super Nanny", you are in time-out because...I love you, blah, blah, the whole time he is looking right into my eyes. Then I ask for a hug and he gives me one. It was textbook!!!

The other picture is of Logan and Kaden. Logan and Kaden love playing with each other. This is them in Logans bed singing our songs and saying our prayers. They are so cute to watch together!

The other picture is of Logan holding Kaden while playing Webkinz online. Kaden is her little buddy. That is what she calls him too, along with katie (hope that doesn't last long), K K and Kaden.

The other picture is of a duck lying on her nest right next to our house. It lets s get about 10 feet away from her. You walk out our garage and look to the left and there she is. She has 9 eggs...big eggs. Bigger than the Easter Eggs, as the girls would say.

Conversation with Logan

Today, I was washing the dishes and Logan came upstairs with her baby doll. I asked her what she was doing and here is what our conversation took us...
L: I had a baby
Me: You had a baby? Boy or Girl?
L: Girl
Me: what did you name her?
L: I don't know, the doctor didn't tell me her name yet.
Me: You get to choose the name of your baby, not the doctor.
L: did you name me?
Me: yes.
L: what did you name me?
Me: Logan silly
..........then she took it a step further..............
L: mommy, did you have all of us in your belly?
ME: yes,you used to be in my belly.
L: Mommy, you are supposed to do one at a time.
ME: well, sometimes it doesn't always work out that way. I had you and your siser in my belly at the same time, but kaden was all by himself.
L: oh.
Me: so did you think of a name for your baby?
L: doggy.

Easter

We had a great and busy Easter weekend. Ryan was home the whole weekend, which was great in itself. We had a birthday party to attend on Saturday, which was fun. Then on Sunday, the kids found their Easter baskets and eggs. The Easter Bunny hid the Easter eggs utside again this year. See, I grew up in California, so the Bunny always hid the eggs outside. This is the second year I have had my children all bundled up to find their eggs. I think we may bring it inside next year! Then, we went to church, which was such a great service. We went to a friends church, which was fun to try something new. Then we went to our friends home, The Chappells. We had twenty something people...all medical families there. There was so much GREAT food. I even passed on the dessert to eat more of the other yummy stuff. We had a great Easter! Nana sent the Girls Easter dresses this year, but for some reason took forever in the mail, so we didn't get them until Monday. I had to take pictures of the Girls in them anyways. Here are some of those pictures. Jordan is in Green. Logan is in White. Kaden was sent a cute Polo vest. I will take pics of him later.

The title says it all. I peeked outside to see how the kids were doing and this is what I found...Kaden with an empty bowl trying to feed kota. Later, I looked out to check on them again and this is what I found...a bowl filling up with dog poop! KIDS!!!!I washed Kadens hands like no other!!!I had to catch this on camera, even though kadens hands were filling up with this poop.

My Parents Visit

My parents came into town on the 19th to visit us. My dad hadn't seen the kids since last summer, so he was way over due. We had a great time, even though the weather wasn't quite warm enough to do much outside. We bowled, shopped, played, rode bikes, ate out, went to church, went to swimming lessons, etc. We always have a good time when my parents come. Can't wait for them to come again this summer! Thanks for coming and visiting us Mom and Dad! Here are some pictures from their visit with us.

Happy Birthday RYAN!

Tomorrow is Ryans birthday, but we decided to celebrate it today, because it was such a nice day, we were all home together, plus he works all day tomorrow. We had a great day. We went to a brithday party for Brooklyn, Logan & Jordans friend at the bowling ally. It was Kaden's first time bowling...he had a blast, and he was a riot to watch. He would bowl and stare at his ball, then walk back with a strut! He was awesome! Then we came home for naps and relaxation time. Then we went outside and played, Ryan and I went for jogs. We even BBQ'd and had birthday cake and opened presents. Ryan got craisins (he loves those dang things. He will fill his mouth up like a chipmunk), a GPS from my parents, his parents and me. Then a coupon for a night for just the two of us when my parents come out next week. They are watching the kids for us while we have time to ourselves at a hotel. Can't wait. It was a great family day! Happy Birthday Ryan! We love you! Here are pictures from today. Jordan is the one huggin her daddy. After Ryan got his gifts he leaned over for a hug, kiss and cuddle time, and look who got in the middle! That is why we are leaving for a night! :)

Disney On Ice

I took the Girls to Disney on Ice last week. We were going to go by ourselves, but dcided to go with a group of friends. One of the gals decided to get a box seating, so we could all be together and have the room and bathroom. There were probably 10 kids or so and my girls were probably the most zoned at the show. It was so cute. I especially loved being there with just the Girls and hearing them say, "Mommy, look, it's Ariel". Etc. We had such a great time. Maybe next year, I will take Kaden. Before the night of the show, I decide to go to the Disney store to get them shirts to wear for the night. The Girls didn't want anything princess-ish. All they wanted was something with Pluto on it. This was the only shirt I found and only $5. I got one for Kaden too. He loved wearing the same shirt as the Girls.
