Holiday Activities

The kids are showing off their new Webkinz from santa and Kaden is showing off his new tool set from Aunt Jean. The holidays are always so much fun with kids!

We went to Crossroads Village to ride the train and other rides and to see santa, his reindeer, etc. Always a neat place to go. The kids got rudolph noses from Nana and Papa, so they had fun with them.

Christmas Shoot

merry Christmas everyone. Here are some pictures from out Christmas card photo shoot.
I am really happy with how they came out!

Christmas Projects

Well, I have been busy with Christmas gift projects. Ryan and I decided we wanted to get the kids some building blocks. To order them online, they are a fortune and I cannot find the ones I want in stores, soooooo we made out own. Hopefully the kids won't kill each other with them, because they are real wood.
Another project are these wooden picture blocks. They weren't my idea. I loved them, so I made some. I made a set for each grandparent and a set for myself as well.
Christmas is so fun, especially when you can make some of your gifts.

Kindergarden

Well the Girls are off to Kindergarden. In Michigan it is a full day. They are even taking the bus. They get on the bus at 8:22 and get home off the bus at 4:15. Today is day 3. The Girls have loved it so far. They walk off the bus giving us hugs and so happy and excited. Jordan has been so confused. On the first day after the girls got home, we had dinner shortly after, then a little play time, then bath, then bedtime. When I said bedtime, Jordan said, "you mean a nap Mommy". I said, no bedtime. It is night time. She had the most confused look on her face. It was like, where did the day go. I hardly played at home. They are loving it, but it is taking a toll on them. They are cranky....TIRED! We put them to bed last night at 7:45. I am pretty sure we will be putting them to bed at that time every night, till they get used to this whole new experience. It has been weird for Kaden too. He puts his backpack on and takes his lunch pail with him to the bus stop too. I have to entertain him now. It is fun to have that one on one time with him. He runs up and gives hugs to the Girls when they walk off the bus. It is pretty cute! Here are some pictures of their first day.

My new project...etc.

Well, I decided I needed some locker space for the kids, especially now that they are starting kindergarden this week. Between backpacks, lunch bags, coats, etc. It was a mess in our entry, so here is what Ryan and I created. It matches two other pieces of furniture we made in that room last year. I love it!!!
The other picture is of Kaden on his new bike. It is a litle too big for him, but we got a great deal on it and couldn't pass it up. It will be perfect for the Spring.
The other picture is of Kaden following Ryan with the weedwacker, but his is a baseball stick. I thought it was so cute!
