CRYING, CRYING. and more CRYING!

The kids are in a new place for school and making new friends, so I know this is probably taking a toll on them. The Girls have been in school now for two weeks and I have yet to have ONE day where at least one girl has not cried within the 1/2 hour of being home from school. Today was almost funny. We were all getting out of the car and walking inside the house. I noticed that Logan had left her backpack and sweatshirt in the car. I asked her to go back out to the car to get her things and to then close the car door when she was finished. She immediately started crying and asked me..."why do I have to do everything". I quietly laughed and said, "seriously Logan?" I guess I was asking way too much...NOT! She wouldn't stop crying and was mad I wouldn't close the door for her, so I sent her to her room. Then within 15 min. Logan stopped crying and then Jordan started up. She had already eaten a snack and saw what Logan has chose for a snack and wanted what she had. I told her she couldn't because she had already gotten a snack and dinner wasn't too far away. She broke down in tears. I then sent her to time out for crying excessivley and over something so stupid. Wait, I am just getting started. Next, Ryan told the Girls to pick up their snack wrappers that they had left on the floor, which was followed by a spanking (they leave messes constantly and we are sick of it), which was followed by both Girls crying. Then, Logan tells me that I am mean to her and Jordan agreed. I tried to explain to them that there are consequences when you aren't responsible and when there is constant whinning for NO REASON! Then, I was brave enough or maybe stupid enough to tell the GIrls that they needed to do their homework soon, I bet everyone could guess what followed (Tears of course). I am hoping that this is just because of school starting up and this will go away SOON! I am growing grey hairs by the second these past two weeks.

Pre School for Kaden

Well, Kaden has been anxiously awaiting his first day of pre school at his new school, "Acorn Learning Center". We took him yesterday for his first day. We walked in and put his name tag on and off he went to a watertable station. He could care less that we left. When we returned, he was so excited to see us and tell us all about his day. He did an acorn project, played with the parachute and balls, but the first thing he told us was that a friend had a bloody nose. Anyways, I am glad he had a good day. Jordan has been struggling these first two days. She has cried both days after getting home from school. She misses having friends and sister in her class. She needs a familiar face or a new friend fast! Logan is doing great.

Logan and Jordan First Day 2nd Grade @ Perrine Elementary

Grandma and Grandpa were here, so they came with us to take Logan and Jordan to their first day of 2nd grade at a new school and in a new state. We were gonna have the Girls in the same class, just because of all the newness this year, but when I took them to their Open House a few days ago, the school had put the Girls in seperate classes. I was gonna say something to the office, but once I got the Girls in their classrooms and they both met their teachers, they said they wanted the teacher they had, so we decided to stick with that. I know they will do fine. They are both outgoing girls and should make friends easy. It was hard on me though. The first time seperating my twins.. sniff sniff.

Roaring Springs

We had free tickets to go to Roaring Springs, so Grandma and Grandpa came with all of us. We had an absolute BLAST!

My 34th Birthday

Well, I turned 34 yesterday. We didn't do a whole lot. Ryan was on the night shifts, so he was sleeping during the day. We did go out for dinner to Buffalo Wild Wings and I got to hang with the kids during the day. I got soooo many birthday wishes, which was nice. It was kind of a lonely birthday this year. New place, no friends yet, makes it hard. I did get a beautiful boquet of Gerber Daisies (my favorite) from my awesome friends in Michigan. They definately brightened my day! I also got a charm for my Pandora bracelet from Kelly Haviland. Ryan and the kids got me a card, flowers, doughnuts for breakfast, cake and a magazie subscription. I was telling people I didn't mind not doing much for my birthday, but as I sat around yesterday, it really does matter. So thankful for the love of my family and friends and their birthday wishes. It really does mean a lot!

Ryan gave STITCHES in our new home already!

We had Kara and her boyfriend, Chris and his brother wife and kids over for dinner a few weeks back. The kids were playing upstairs and all of a sudden we heard the kids running down the stairs and Jordan screaming and Logan covering her eye. I took her hand off and all I saw was blood and a big gash on the corner of Logans eyebrow. Thankgoodness Ryan was home. I ran her over to him and he looked at her and it was obvious she was going to need stitches. The question was if we were gonna take her into the E.R. or have Ryan do it here at the house. Well, our new insurance hadn't kicked in yet, so we decided to do it here. Ryan got his stitching kit out and we put Logan on the bed. I knew I was gonna need help holding her down, because she was so scared. So I went to get Kara. Well, Kara doesn't do well with that stuff so I got Chris. Then Chris told Kara to SUCK IT UP, so she did. I sat by Logans head and Aunt Kara sat by Logans legs to hold them. Logan later said that Aunt Kara rubbed her legs, but never looked at the process of the shot to numb Logan nor for the stiches (she got 3 stitches). Now all 3 of my kids have a scar on the corner of their forehead/eye area from injuries. GEESH!

Logan Lost Her First TOOTH!

Well, we lost our first tooth. Logan lost her first tooth on August 18th, 2011. She was so excited when it came out. It was really loose that night, so I told her to wiggle it and twist it around and what do ya know. It came out. She put it under her pillow for the toothfairy. In the morning she found two dollar bills and a pack of BIG RED gum. Logan said she heard the toothfairy because Kota barked and she felt her hand go under her pillow.
