"He got Bloody"

I have to tell this sweet story that Logan and Jordan told me from Easter Sunday.
When we came home from church, I asked the girls what they had learned in sunday school about Jesus today. Logan responded first with..."he got bloody". So I could tell, I was gonna have to go further with this. I asked her where he was bloody. She said, "on his hands and foots". I said, oh, poor Jesus. Jordan responded by telling me " Jesus was so so sad and he was so crying". I asked what happened next. Logan responded with.."he was born". It took me a second to figure out what she was saying. Then it came to me that she was telling me about how Jesus was born/resurected (spell?) again. So I said with a question...he was born again? She said yes. Again, Jordan had to tell me how sad and how much he was crying. They, especially Logan, loved telling this story. They told both grandparents and I even filmed them saying it. I thought this was so sweet. Like my mom said, it is amazing what childrens minds are like. They are like sponges. Soooo true. This was the first year/the age that I thought the girls would understand the true meaning of Easter and for them to share it with me like they did, was so special.

It IS you! I read a post from you on Danettes blog, saw your hubbys name and thought, "huh, I think that might be Allison from bunco". Small world! does that mean your hubby went to KCOM? Sheesh, I had no idea. I have had my head in the ground for the last year, so sorry. Looking forward to Friday night!

Oh, ya, I loved the story of the girls. Little sponges, they are.

I'm cracking up that you play bunco with Judy. Such a small world. I thought the story the girls gave were so sweet and they said it much better than the story I heard on Easter Sunday. I can't wait to see them again.
