Trip to California 2012

Grandma, Grandpa, the kids and I decided to take a trip to California this past week. Unfortunately Ryan couldn't switch his schedule around to come along. We got to surprise Kellie young and Scott Owen, my cousins. Kellie was celebrating her High School Graduation and Scott was celebrating his 50th Birthday. It was so great to see family. We don't get together all that often. Both parties were in Palm Desert. We ate lots (too much), swam (A LOT) and visited!!! We had a great time. The kids had a blast playing with Jeremy and Kellie Young! After the surprise visits, we then drove to San Diego and stayed at Aunt Jeans Condo. We were there for 3 days and they were a full and busy 3 days! One day one, we picked up my friend Tiffany Evans at the airport and went straight to Sea World. This was the kids favorite day in San Diego. They brought home some cute souveneirs too. Jordan brought home a cute turtle pillow. Kaden brought home a shark tooth necklace and Logan brought home a shark stuffed animal. Day two we drove around San Diego. We walked on a suspension bridge, we played at the beach, looked at some awesome homes, went to the candy shop, etc. Day three, we went to the famous, San Diego Zoo. The best exhibit was the gorilla one. We were there during feeding time. Those animals are so amazing and human-like. If they wanted more food, they would either clap or wave their hand at the lady above who would throw food down. It was so cool. All in all, we had a great trip. We missed Daddy back at home, but we for sure made the best of our trip. Next time we go to California, we are taking Daddy and we are going to Disneyland!!!
