Christmas 2012
This was a great Christmas this year. Last year this time, we had just found out that my dad had cancer. This year, he is cancer free. A bonus, Aunt Jean is still cancer free. The holiday week started off with the Roberts coming to our place for a night, so we could do a mini Christmas together before they took off for Utah to spend Christmas with Jon. Then we had friends, Fortners', Mazes', etc. over for the Boise State Bowl game. We had such a fun time! Then the Fortners' and Aunt Jean stuck around for the rest of the Christmas festivities. We shopped, ate, ate, ate, looked at lights, played games, etc. We had a nice time together. A few highlights I have to mention are the following. One night Ryan took the trash out and took Brody with him so he could go potty. Ryan decided to go potty too. While peeing and admiring the beautiful night time sky, Ryan noticed a pause to his stream. I think you can probably guess what happened. Lets just say that Brody got a bath that night. Couldn't believe it! Another highlight was that Jordan lost a tooth the day after Christmas, with the help of Kaden (OOPS). So Jordan was a day shy of asking for her two front teeth for Christmas! :0) Some things the kids got this year... Girls got new bikes, clothes, diaries, apples to apples, earings, legos, etc. Kaden got a bow, cowboy boots, helmet, remote control truck, legos, etc.I am so thankful for being close to family again to share these holidays together!
