A few weeks ago,
due to cancer, we had to say goodbye to the greatest dog ever, Dakota "Kota Bear". Ryan bough Kota for me just before we got married. He was this cute brown ball of fur. His paws were so big that he would trip going down our apartment stairs. He was an undeveloped eyelid, which he had to have surgery on. It left him with one droopy eye, but he was a beautiful boy. He got to be as big as 120 lbs. He was a beast, or a bear, which is what we liked to call him. When he was full grown, he would take us for walks. By that I mean that, he would hold his leash in his mouth while we walked. He went everywhere with us. He lived in Idaho, Missouri, Utah, Michigan and back to Idaho. He loved to be in water. If he saw water, he would do anything to get in it. Even if it was a little puddle. He also loved his chucker. It was a blue and orange frisbee. Ryan would try and teach him to be a leaping dog when he was a pup, but Kota was too big for that sport. He was loved for sure and will be missed dearly. Right now, he is buried in our backyard up in the garden, under a big shady tree at 2669 E. 4256 N. Twin Falls, Idaho. Love you Kota Bear!!! Here is our last picture with him before he passed on (3 days prior).
