California Trip Summer 2013

Last week we took a family trip to California. Grandma and Grandpa Fortner joined us. Day 1 was the drive to Las Vegas. We walked around to a few hotels, watched the water show at Belagio, watched the pirate show at our hotel, "Treasure Island" and walked around. Day 2; drove to Anaheim. Checked into our Hotel right across from Disneyland. We swam in the pool then drove to Balboa island and had dinner at the Ruby's on the dock and played at the beach. Kids kept getting knocked over by the waves, which they LOOOOVED! It was a total crack up! Day 3; Spent ALL DAY at Disneyland. Kids were great. They weren't scared of anything! Day 4; Spent most of the day at California Adventure Land and Disneyland. Then we drove to Palm Desert to Surprise Stacie, my cousin, for her 50th birthday. Day 5; Swam a lot and spent time with family. In the evening, Grandpa and Grandma renewed their vows. Scott performed the ceremony. Uncle Russ, Aunt Jean and I all spoke. It was a special moment. The greatest part was that my dad thought he was surprising my mom and my mom thought she was surprising my dad. What a great plan. It all worked out perfect! Day 6; Spent time with family, shopped a little, then made our way back home. It was a great vacation!

This guy grabbed the kids and handed them guns and they went around the local stores to shoot at the employees. They had a blast. So fun!
