My Sweet Logan

Today started off as just an ordinary day. I Picked up the kids from school. We came home and hung out, did homework, ate dinner, then cleaned a little. While Jordan and Kaden were helping me clean upstairs, Logan was busy writing a poem. Logan read her poem to me and brought tears to my eyes. We all struggle in certain areas in our lives and focusing in school is one of Logan's weaknesses. One of her many strengths is how great of a writer she is. This is the poem she wrote on the spur of the moment to me tonight....

Moms...

Moms are caring, 

Moms are daring,

Moms are sweet,

Moms are a treat. 

That is what a mom is, but that's not all,

They could stumble and fall but best of all,

they are above and beyond.

That's the way you fall in love with a beautiful mom, just like mine.

They are kind and have a lovable mind,

that's just the way they are.

Responsible and their eyes are so bright just like mine.

Oh the way they smile like the dandelions, 

that's a mom.

I am amazed at my 9 year old's talented writing. I love you Logan and I will cherish this poem forever and ever! MOM
