Wow, where do I start? My parents are here in Michigan visiting for a couple weeks and just this last weekend we (Ryan, my parents and I) got to go to a Chicago Cubs game. My dad is a HUGE Cubs fan and it has always been his dream to take me to a Cubs game. My Aunt Dana lives near Chicago, so we went to see her as well. She actually watched my kidos for us. It was so nice of them to do that! Anyways, the game was awesome. I can't even begin to describe the feeling of being at Wrigley Field to watch the Cubs. As soon as I walked into the stadium I felt like the atmosphere of everything totally grabbed a hold of me, if that makes any sense. This stadium is one of the oldest stadiums still around and is set in a neighborhood and as you watched the game, it felt like you were sitting with your fellow neighbor/friend. We were all one. There are even bleachers on top of buildings' rooftops for people to watch the game. To top it all off, it was a great game. In the 4th inning there were 4 home runs hit right in front of us. Two of the home runs were back to back. The final score was 11 to 7...the Cubs. It was great!

you gotta love the cubbies! when we were in chicago right before graduation, we stayed just a few blocks from wrigley field. Trent took luke to a game and he's still talking about it. it's fun to have a baseball lover in the house!
SO FUN!!! That would be like me going to the UFC. Someday I HOPE.
Sounds like you guys had a blast!!
