Our engagement pictureOkay, so I have been tagged to tell about my husband and about our dating years. So here it goes, thankgoodness I kept a journal of some of this, because, sadly I don't remember exact dates and moments.
Husbands Name: Ryan Joseph Roberts
How long did we date: just over a year
How long have we been married: 6 years July 02' - 08'
How old is Ryan: 34
Who eats more: Ryan, but I'm not far behind
Who said I LOVE YOU first: Ryan did. We were at his apt. watching "Fox and the Hound", so goofy, I know, and during the movie, he leaned over and asked me if we could ever be more than just friends. I said yes, then he asked if he could kiss me instead of just our usual hugs and I again said yes. He then leaned over, put his hands to my face and kissed me. :)
Who is taller: Ryan, by only 1 stinkin inch.
Who is a better singer: We would probably tie for the worst, but probably me if I had to pick.
Who is smarter: Definately Ryan!
Who does the laundry: I do it most the time. Ryan tries to help out, but something always goes wrong. He doesn't look for stains, he shrinks things, he dries things that shouldn't, etc.
Who does the dishes: We both do.
Who mows the lawn: We both do, but I do it most of the time if the kids allow me to. I love to do it. It is good exercise and fun.
Who cooks: I do. If Ryan cooks, it is breakfast for dinner.
Who drives: long distance, Ryan. In town, Me especially in the minivan. He is too cool for the minivan.
Who said I love you first: Ryan did. We were cuddling and I was going through a tough time a the time. Ryan went to the stoe quickly and brought back milk, oreos and a rose to make me feel better. Then it followed by the shed of a tear. I asked him why he was sad...he said he wasn't sad. He was happy because he said he was falling in love with me. I told him that I loved him too.
Who proposed: Ryan did. We were up in Mc Call, Idaho with some of our good friends the New Years weekend. The girls took me to the coffee shop in the morning and when we returned, Ryan and the guys put on a scavenger hunt. The hunt lead us to a back room with Ryan on his knee, his best buddies standing behind him and candles lit up on the carpet spelling... Marry Me! It was so sweet. The funny thing is that as soon as that hust started I knew what was up. Girl instinct, I guess.
Who is more stubborn: Ohhh, a tough one. It could go either way.
Who is more sesitive: Definatley me! I cry at the dumbest things...reality shows, movies, etc.
Who wears the pants: Neither of us do, but I am the tough one when it comes to sticking with punishing our kids.

you stinker...i was having fun just reading your and tara's husband tags...thanks for sharing though. i really like hearing how people met and fell in love, so fun and romantic! i'll see what i can do about posting my own this next week.
SO Cute!!! Ryan is a really romantic guy. It was so fun reading about your story. I will do my tag soon I hope. I am working again.
and I can say that I was there for all of those fun times. You forgot about the Valentine's Day and his spelling. The laundry part made me laugh. That's Ryan for ya. I sure do miss all of you. take care
Ahh great, now I have to remeber all these things, I'm going to have to dust off the old journal to get this one done. At least it will give me something to do!
Thanks for being a good sport and doing it. It was fun to read. I forgot how romantic Ryan is.
